A dry crushed chalk with the majority of the grading being around 7 micron. This chalk dust has a slightly alkali pH in water with a loose bulk density of 0.92Kg/L. This can be used as a filler in various mixes.
Chalk powders are sometimes used in roofing applications, being painted onto lead with a small amount of binder to prevent corrosion on the underside of flashing.
