Steico Duo Dry

STEICO wood fibre insulation materials are manufactured exclusively from fresh, untreated coniferous wood from sustainable forestry.

STEICO provides suitable boards for various requirements and working methods in small and large formats as well as with square edges or with tongue and groove.

Due to the high strength properties of STEICO wood fibre insulation boards, they are particularly suitable for use in timber frame construction. The vapour open properties of the wood fibre insulation boards and the render systems enable wall constructions with a high evaporation potential.

Steico Duo DRY is a natural render/plaster carrying wood fibre insulation board with a tongue and groove profile manufactured in accordance with EN 13171, designed both as an external sheathing board for timber frame constructions or for direct to masonry applications in external wall insulation systems where the render is applied directly to the board and as an internal plaster carrying board for direct fixing to timber frames without the need for a supporting backer board.

It is quite common for architects and designers to specify Duo DRY boards in certain building applications and in combination with a separately specified finish or render system.
