Course Agenda
Roofs play a vital role in all buildings. Besides shielding us from weather conditions, they also protect against summer heat. With rising global temperatures and extreme weather becoming more common, this CPD will detail how incorporating wood fibre materials into roof structures can offer a future-proof solution to these challenges.
The CPD will delve into key topics such as:
The critical importance of roofs
New build systems for pitched and flat roof applications
Integrating wood fibre into renovation projects
We will also look at relevent products, new builds, renovation options, installation and detailing.
This CPD is designed for architects, designers, specifiers, and anyone interested in building physics. It emphasizes how using bio-based materials can contribute to a robust construction methodology that mitigates climate change impacts and enhances public health and wellbeing.
