Tector Natural Base
Tector Natural Base is a pre-mixed Natural Hydraulic Lime (NHL 3.5) render and mortar manufactured by Lafarge for use on both new and historic masonry. Formulated from NHL binders, selected sands, graded aggregates, and performance-enhancing additives, it provides a breathable and durable solution for rendering, pointing, and masonry work.
Suitable for both internal and external applications, Tector Natural Base can be used as a base coat render within the Tector Natural system or as a stand-alone render and mortar for traditional and modern construction.

Installation Overview
1. Surface Preparation
Ensure substrates are clean, sound, and free from dust, loose material, and contaminants.
2. Mixing
Mix in accordance with Lafarge's current technical guidance.
3. Application
Apply manually or mechanically to the required thickness, up to 15 mm per coat.
4. Finishing
Finish to the desired texture or prepare as a base coat for Tector Natural Liso.
5. Protection & Curing
Protect fresh work from:

- Rapid drying
- Strong sunlight
- Wind
during curing.
